Judge it on it’s own merits.This game’s merits are a great and deep story, great and complex combat with breathes you can upgrade and despite the combat being a bit simple, it works well. This is a reboot, people shouldn’t expect the same thing or hate it for being different. The characters were just childish and the game was still a bit of fun back then, but now it’s obsolete and it’d be weird. It gets old and boring to have to wait to get to a new level just because you missed an impossibly hidden box of gems on. Why are there such negative reviews? This game may not be a collect ’em up like the old games, but back then there wasn’t enough technology to add more moves to have a good combat system or a good story.
